The Apache OpenEJB community has released OpenEJB 3.1 final. OpenEJB 3.1 adds some key new EJB 3.1 functionality such as Singleton Session beans. Other new features include Spring integration, EJB constructor injection, JSF dependency injection while in Tomcat as well as several innovations to the core embeddable EJB container feature set.

I attended the 1st International SOA Symposium in the Amsterdam ArenA at 6 and 7 october. The reason why I attended this symposium was because Event-driven Architecture (EDA) came to the scene. But I really was disappointed.

Compared to dynamic mock object libraries such as EasyMock, jMock and Mockito, various improvements are offered in terms of syntax simplicity, power and user feedback.
