ZDNET runs a story that Windows 7 is the Linux Killer. The story goes, that Microsoft is worried about Netbooks.
Vista does not run on Netbooks, because the hardware requirements are to high - now I know why I never saw one offered with Vista! Asus started with Linux and later offered Windows XP as well. Now it seems the moving forward for Windows 7 schedule addresses the worries about the Vista Weakness and the upsdie for MacOS and Linux.

I saw multiple print/online articles with similar messages.
I started in 2007 to use Linux on the Desktop/Laptop. No one at that time talked about Linux being important at all on the Desktop and no one cared about a few geeks and some thin-clients in corporations running on Linux.
While the media still calls Linux dead (and every month they call it more dead), now suddenly Microsoft needs a "Linux Killer" urgently, I just wonder why?
Moving to Deloitte Consulting, I started up on Vista and I personally did not like the experience. I think XP provides a better user experience, stability, and performance. As in GE, I moved quickly to Linux! Fast, reliable and does everything I need!
Although I definitely want to try to The Linux Killer Windows 7. Very curious on why something dead needs killing.
